Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

This is the smallest of the parks (covering 29 sq km only) and located I the extreme south-western corner of Uganda bordering DR Congo and Rwanda. Famous for mountain Gorillas but other animals are also found here including elephants, golden monkeys, leopards, Giant forest hog, bush bucks and buffaloes.

Mgahinga Sabino Volcanic Mountains as well as part of Mihavura mountains add to the scenic beauty of the region. At the summit of Mihuvura (4,127 m) is the smallest Crater Lake.
