Safari Briefing: Day 01 at 0700hrs approx.
Departs on Day 01: 0730hrs approx.
Returns on Day 08: 1200hrs approx. (flights to be booked)

 
Luggage

Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. We recommend luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft sided bags not exceeding 15kgs and 65×46 cm.
Excess luggage can be handed over to the representative at time of briefing. It will be handed over to you on your return from safari. Additional costs may apply to pick up drop off luggage at specific points.

– We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non- availability
– Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you

Day 1: LAKE MBURO L,D

Safari departs from Entebbe. Morning drive to Lake Mburo with a stop en route at the Equator. Lunch and afternoon game drive in Lake Mburo National park. Overnight at Mihingo tented lodge.

Day 2: QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK B,L,D

Morning drive to Queen Elizabeth park. Lunch and afternoon scenic drive to visit the salt mines at Lake Katwe and as the day cools follow the explosion crater road with its splendid views across the plains and a chance to spot leopard. Spend the next 2 nights at Mweya lodge in standard rooms.

Day 3: QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK B,L,D

Morning game drive following the North shores of the Kazinga channel and into Kasenyi. Lunch and afternoon boat excursion along the Kazinga channel to see hippo, elephant, crocs, buffalo and antelope close to the shoreline.

Day 4:  KIBALE B,L,D

Morning lion tracking in Queen Elizabeth park. Lunch and afternoon drive to Kibale forest. Spend the next 2 nights at Primate lodge in luxury cottage.

Day 5:  KIBALE B,L,D

Morning guided chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest. Lunch and afternoon excursion to Bigodi swamps.

Day 6:  ENTEBBE B

Morning drive back to Entebbe.
