Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. We recommend luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft sided bags not exceeding 15kgs and 65×46 cm.
Excess luggage can be handed over to the representative at time of briefing. It will be handed over to you on your return from safari. Additional costs may apply to pick up drop off luggage at specific points.

Day 1: Nairobi

Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi by Holiday Migration Safaris Representative and transferred to the Nairobi Serena Hotel. Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast drive north through rich farming areas and across the Equator to the semi-arid and rugged landscape of Samburu National Reserve After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu Intrepids. Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve

Early morning and late afternoon game-drives enable you to see wildlife unique to this arid yet beautiful part of Kenya. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at the Samburu Intrepids.


Day 4: Mt Kenya

After breakfast drive to the slopes of Mount Kenya and check-in at Mountain Lodge Your quest begins at 2,134 meters above sea level in the dense rainforest, draping the slopes of Mount Kenya. Day 6: Masai Mara

Day 7: Masai Mara

An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or takes an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge.


Day 8: Depart

After breakfast return to Nairobi (360 kms) and proceed with your chosen extension or return home.

***Due to road and traffic conditions, in order to maintain the scheduled departure timings, it is recommended that clients arrive a day prior to the programme and book a pre-night. All clients must be at the pickup point in time for briefing. The safari will continue without clients that have not arrived by the departure time and additional costs incurred to arrange for the clients to meet up with the safari group, will need to be borne directly by client on the ground.
