  • The tour is modular and combines with other tours so there may be need for clients to change vehicles on occasion.
ITINERARY

Days of Operation – Daily
Duration – 7 Days
Vehicle – Safari Minibus (Scheduled)
Safari Briefing: Day 01 at 0700hrs approx.
Departs on Day 01: 0730hrs approx.
Returns on Day 08: 1200hrs approx. (flights to be booked)

 
Luggage

Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. We recommend luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft sided bags not exceeding 15kgs and 65×46 cm.
Excess luggage can be handed over to the representative at time of briefing. It will be handed over to you on your return from safari. Additional costs may apply to pick up drop off luggage at specific points.

Additional remarks:-

– We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non- availability
– Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you

END OF SERVICE

Day 1: ARRIVAL/ARUSHA

Arrival at JRO, you will meet our Leopard Tours representative for transfer from the airport to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at The Arusha Hotel.

Day 2: ARUSHA / TARANGIRE

After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park for lunch at Tarangire Safari Lodge en-route game drive. Afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at Maramboi Tented Camp.

Day 3: TARANGIRE / SERENGETI

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park with packed lunch boxes with en-route game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 4:  SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, leave for morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Lunch at Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 5:  SERENGETI / NGORONGORO

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Olduvia Gorge for an excursion to see Dr. Leakey’s Archaeological discoveries cradle of mankind. Later visit Maasai Village. Lunch at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Then Leisure at the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 6:  MOMBASA B

After breakfast depart with packed lunch boxes for a full day crater tour in Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 7:  NGORONGORO / ARUSHA

After breakfast drive to Arusha for lunch at The Arusha Coffee Lodge. Transfer from to JRO for departure flight back home.

Due to road and traffic conditions, in order to maintain the scheduled departure timings, it is recommended that clients arrive a day prior to the programme and book a pre-night. All clients must be at the pickup point in time for briefing. The safari will continue without clients that have not arrived by the departure time and additional costs incurred to arrange for the clients to meet up with the safari group, will need to be borne directly by client on the ground.
